Last week, on 27 & 28 August, 120 police, customs and border guard officers took part in a two-day intensive awareness seminar (Europol Roadshow) at the Police College in Tampere, Finland. The participants came from all over the country and represented a wide area of expertise.

The main themes presented were analysis, mobile organised crime, illegal immigration, trafficking in human beings, cybercrime, child sexual abuse and trafficking in firearms. Europol was represented by two officials from the Finnish Liaison Bureau, three crime specialists and one communications specialist. A special information session for Finnish crime and justice reporters was also given in cooperation with the Finnish National Police Board.
